Dr. Daniel Osei Yeboah
Managing Partner
Dr. Daniel Osei Yeboah is a visionary finance expert, entrepreneur, and mental health advocate with over two decades of experience in corporate strategy, financial services, and mergers and acquisitions (M&A). He is the Found
er and President of Wellmen Healthy Minds Foundation, an organization committed to promoting men’s mental health across Ghana and Africa. Additionally, he serves as the Managing Partner of JSJ EL-Daniels Consulting, and Chairman and Executive Director of NorthStar Home Finance, regulated by the Bank of Ghana.
Dr. Yeboah’s academic background is both robust and diverse. He holds a BSc in Accounting and an Executive MBA in Accounting and Financial Services Management** from the University of Ghana Business School (UGBS). He furthered his studies with a PhD in Accounting and complemented it with research in Philosophy and Psychology, underscoring his multifaceted approach to leadership and organizational development.
Throughout his career, Dr. Yeboah has made significant contributions to the financial sector, especially in M&A and the establishment of key financial institutions in Ghana. His M&A journey began with the merger of Horizon Finance and Leasing into Access Bank (Ghana) Ltd, where he played a crucial role in the bank's total setup. He further contributed to the successful integration of **Access Bank and Intercontinental Bank. Dr. Yeboah was also instrumental in the creation of **Royal Bank Ghana Ltd** and the founding of NorthStar Home Finance, the only dedicated mortgage institution in Ghana.
Notably, Dr. Yeboah transformed Mace Microfinance, a small microfinance institution, into NorthStar Home Finance, one of Ghana’s most innovative mortgage companies. His keen strategic foresight has allowed him to lead NorthStar in bridging the gap in affordable housing finance.
Currently, Dr. Yeboah is overseeing the M&A between Lumiere Group International and Dalex Finance & Leasing, where he is spearheading efforts to upgrade Dalex into a digital bank—a transformation that will revolutionize the financial services landscape in Ghana, much like his successful upgrade of Mace Microfinance into NorthStar Home Finance.
Beyond his finance expertise, Dr. Yeboah is a passionate advocate for mental health, particularly focusing on the well-being of men. Through Wellmen Healthy Minds Foundation, he works to destigmatize mental health issues and create a supportive environment for men to thrive in their personal and professional lives.
